Guilford County Wide Cyber Lions Club

Our History

In 2018, following the tornado in Greensboro, several Lion leaders began a journey to start a cyber Lions club that would serve the county and not just individual areas. This was a new and novel idea, a bit scary but an exciting one! 

Lions would meet online, conduct business on a private Facebook page and offer help throughout Guilford County.  It took months to work out the details but it happened.

In April of 2019, the Guilford County Women Cyber Lions Club was chartered with 21 women. Since that time, our name was changed to Guilford County Wide Cyber Lions Club because men were eager to join this new kind of Lions Club.

Today, we have 49 members and a very diverse membership. 

In 2023, we started the first middle school cyber Leo club for students 12-15 years of age. They are already 20 strong.

We are very proud of who we are, what we are accomplishing and the partnerships we have built in only five years.
